John,
Yesterday, we celebrated the life of Congressman John Lewis at Ebenezer
Baptist Church in Atlanta and virtually from around the world.
As the senior pastor at Ebenezer, Rev. Raphael Warnock presided over the
service and delivered a stirring tribute to Congressman Lewis’s life. It
was fitting for the former pulpit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Rev. Warnock is himself a champion of the same values that Dr. King and
Congressman Lewis fought for throughout their lives.
And right now, he’s running for the United States Senate in Georgia to
continue fighting for fundamental human rights, like the need for housing
and health care, and to stop this all-out assault on our right to vote.
He is no run-of-the-mill candidate. And he can flip this Georgia Senate
seat blue.
Rev. Warnock does not have big powerful interests in his corner. Instead,
he’s counting on strong grassroots support to win. Congressman John Lewis
was clear in his final words to us that the fight must continue, and that
includes mobilizing people to vote. With your support, we can ensure that
we elect another fighter like John Lewis to the Senate.
Will you split a contribution between DFA and Rev. Warnock’s campaign to
flip this seat and elect Georgia’s first Black U.S. Senator?

Together, we can elect transformational candidates like Rev. Warnock in
Georgia and across the country. Thank you for making this work possible.
