During his first month in office, Garcia made attacking reproductive choice his priority -- all in the midst of a historic pandemic and nationwide protests against racial inequality.
On his very first day as a member of Congress, Garcia joined far right-wingers' attempts to force a vote on extreme anti-choice legislation.
Then, he cosponsored another radical anti-choice bill -- one that would ban all abortions and could end up making certain kinds of birth control illegal. It's hard enough already for many Americans to get access to affordable, reliable birth control. We don't need Garcia and his radical GOP allies limiting health care choices even further.
One thing's clear: We have to get this guy out of office this November and elect Christy, who will go to Congress to get to work on the issues that really matter -- like fighting for racial equality and working to save lives and jobs during the COVID-19 pandemic.
