Donald Trump is about to get us into a major war [ [link removed] ] with Iran, has no clue what he’s doing, and he’s going to get a whole lot of people killed.
Sign now, and demand that Congress use its Constitutional power to stop him. [ [link removed] ]
Trump seems to have no clue what a war with Iran would entail. It’s leaders may be assholes, but this is not a weak nation, militarily. Iran has nearly 100 million people, with just under a million in its active-duty military and reserves. And it may already have nuclear weapons.
It also has the ability to close off the Strait of Hormuz, halting most of the world’s oil exports, driving oil prices to unprecedented levels, and sending the world economy into a tailspin.
This is not a cake walk, it is an extremely dangerous undertaking, and we better have one hell of a good reason to do it before we before we risk catastrophe. Congress must act NOW.
