In case you missed it, last week, the House voted to overturn tariffs on Canada, which would help North Country farmers like me save money on already expensive crop inputs. Yesterday, the Supreme Court also ruled Trump’s tariffs illegal.

While progress is being made in Washington, it’s clear that the fight isn’t over.

After the Supreme Court’s decision, Trump announced that he will impose a new 10% global tariff, creating even more uncertainty for our community. Policies like these hurt farmers and raise prices for consumers. This is exactly why we need more people with real-world experience, like farmers, serving in Congress.
