FIRST: Trump enacted chaotic, disastrous tariffs that tanked the job market and spiked the costs of necessities like groceries for American families.

THEN: Today, the Supreme Court struck down those tariffs.

BUT NOW: Trump wants to DEFY the Supreme Court, suggesting that he will now impose even higher tariffs.

Trump and his allies control the White House, the House, and the Senate — and Republicans in Congress refuse to put a check on his power.

So, even when the Supreme Court steps in to put a check on him, Trump still thinks he can do whatever he wants.

November’s midterms are our only chance to restore checks and balances. We need to elect more Democrats to retake the House, flip the Senate, and elect a Congress that will finally put a real check on Trump’s power.
