These past few months, my team and I have been working hard to expose Matt Gaetz for who he really is: A shameless self-promoter, who is more concerned with defending the president than delivering for Floridians.

We launched three television ads across Northwest Florida to show our neighbors exactly what we mean by that -- and it's working.

But television ads are as expensive as you can imagine and that's not the only obstacle we're facing. My team set a monthly digital fundraising goal of $20,000 and we're still $3,483 short of our target, with only 10 hours left to hit it.

Sometimes, I'm shocked to see Gaetz on television as much as I do.

And then I think, "doesn't he have work to do?"

We're in the middle of a pandemic that is hitting our state especially hard, yet Matt still has all this time to promote himself, Steve Bannon, and whatever Donald Trump has tweeted today?

But then I remember that this is always who Matt has been -- a talking head who loves to defend Trump no matter how unconstitutional, bigoted, or ignorant the president's actions are.

We don't need to stomach this any longer.

I'm running to lead our district with the honor and integrity we've been deprived of with Matt as our representative. But I can't do it alone, John. We're a grassroots powered campaign, which means we rely on good people chipping in a little to change a lot.
