Here's the good news: We're already making progress in the fight to protect endangered wildlife throughout the country. Just days ago, we learned that a coalition of environmental advocates launched the first court challenge to Donald Trump's attempts to gut the Endangered Species Act.
This is an incredible development -- it shows that the movement to protect endangered species and stop Trump's environmental attacks is gaining momentum.
But here's the bad news: Legal action alone won't save our endangered species.
If we're going to get the Trump administration to back down, we need to make this latest decision toxic. We need to call it out for what it is -- one of the worst environmental moves of his presidency.
That won't be easy. It's going to take all of us raising our voices louder and louder, and again and again, until nobody, not even the Trump administration, can ignore us.
