Kentucky passed restrictions on DEI. Universities were expected to comply.

Accuracy in Media went to the University of Kentucky to see what actually changed.

On a hidden camera, Tamra Nowitzki, Department Manager at the UK Department of Psychology, dismissed critics by saying, “people are dumb,” while explaining that DEI efforts continue within the university.

In a separate investigation, Jason Horger, an Academic Advisor at UK, stated faculty are “totally committed to DEI,” despite public assurances that reforms had been made in response to state law.

These are admissions. Lawmakers acted to rein in these programs. Yet university employees are describing business as usual.

If state law is going to matter, it has to be enforced. Universities don’t get to signal compliance while privately continuing the same programming publicly.
