BREAKING FROM THE ATLANTIC: Bill Barr "is using official violence and intimidation to help Trump win a second term."

Friends, U.S. Attorney General Bill Barr has made a mockery of our democracy. His behavior is completely contemptible and needs to be stopped.

First, Barr ordered police to clear peaceful protesters from Lafayette Square for a Trump photo op, leading to the crowd being tear gassed and some protesters even being shot by rubber bullets. Then, Barr fired the U.S. Attorney tasked with investigating cases Trump wishes would go away.

Attorneys General are meant to serve justice - and no one knows that better than Dem AGs. But Bill Barr has made crystal clear that he only serves Donald Trump. Now is the time to condemn Barr and call for an independent Department of Justice.
