Yesterday marked the first day of the NBA season, and today is 95 days until Election Day on November 3rd. In basketball, when there are only a few seconds left on the clock, who you choose to pass the ball to can be the most important decision you make -- which is why we’re passing it to you.

One in five eligible voters are not registered to vote, and we have 95 days to do everything in our power to change that. You are the best person to make sure your friends, family, and community are registered and ready to vote -- and we’re asking you to step up and join our #MyStartingFive challenge today.

The challenge is simple, but will have a huge impact. Here’s what we’re asking you to do:

1. Get registered and ready to vote at whenweallvote.org/mystartingfive.

2. Nominate five people in your circle to register and commit to voting in November across all of your social media networks, using the #MyStartingFive hashtag and registration portal link.

3. Watch your impact grow as we push towards November.

With a global pandemic changing the way we live our lives, and racial bias and injustice continuing to threaten millions of Americans every day, it is more important than ever to join our movement with this challenge and help get your friends, families, and communities registered and ready to vote.
