Remarks by President George W. Bush at the Memorial Service for Congressman John Lewis

President George W. Bush, along with fellow former presidents Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, delivered remarks at the memorial service Thursday for Congressman John Lewis, the late civil rights leader, at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta.

"We live in a better and nobler country today because of John Lewis and his abiding faith in the power of God, in the power of democracy, and in the power of love to lift us all to a higher ground."
