Let me cut right to the chase: Tonight’s the deadline to meet our monthly fundraising goal, and my team says we’re just $2,413 away. Will you chip in $5 to my campaign today?

We’re running a grassroots campaign, and with Election Day just over 90 days away, we need all hands on deck. That’s why I’m asking for your $5 today.

Every donation of $5, $25, or even $100 makes a real difference in a race as competitive as this one. Your contributions help my team run a winning campaign to keep me in Congress -- and that’s how we’re able to keep fighting for our health care, Social Security, DREAMers, air quality, a clean energy economy, and everything else we care about here in Utah.

But right now, there are a lot of people and groups trying to buy this seat for themselves. They know I’ll never put special interests over the needs of Utah families, so they’re pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into our district to elect someone who will.

It’s up to us to stop them, because this seat belongs to Utahns -- not the highest bidder.
