That’s what Senator Lindsey Graham said when asked if he would extend federal unemployment benefits, in the midst of historic economic downturn during a global pandemic.

“Over our dead bodies.”

There’s a fundamental disconnect between the needs of the people in this country and their leadership, and we have to change that. In South Carolina, more than 600,000 people have filed for unemployment, and over 80,000 have been diagnosed with COVID-19. Lindsey Graham would rather please the president than help his constituents at the moment they need it most. 

That’s why we need to support Jaime Harrison right now -- he has the vision and the drive to lead, and fight for the American people.
