John - On the Feast Day of St. Ignatius of Loyola, let us pray and act for racial justice and equity.
John,
As our nation wrestles with the historic, systemic, and pervasive truths of racism, we cannot turn away. We must face our failings, both personal and communal, and weed out racism at its roots.
As we celebrate St. Ignatius’ legacy, we pray that our hearts are open to hearing the call to work for a more just world in the coming year.
Ways our network has responded to the call recently:
Thousands are currently participating in the 21-Day Ignatian Racial Equity Challenge, entering into the complex work of understanding the realities of racial injustice and anti-Blackness in the U.S. by learning, praying, and taking action for racial equity.
Thank you for making actions like these possible through your support and engagement. May this Feast Day of St. Ignatius of Loyola continue to inspire us to work toward building a more just and equitable world.
Peace, Christopher G. Kerr Executive Director
