We’ll start with a review of the election calendar and key deadlines ahead, and then move into Running for Office 101. This is going to be a practical conversation about what it takes to run for state legislative office, what you need to do to prepare, and the essential role your DTC plays. |
We’ll walk through the basics and demystify the process of running for office. We’ll also be joined by special guests including Young Democrats of America President Fatima Heyward and Comptroller Sean Scanlon who bring firsthand experience to the conversation. Building a meaningful Democratic majority takes preparation, planning, and people willing to lead.
