Dear , 

Fellow patriot, I'm not going to lie. It has been a rough week. We lost two, great conservative heroes this week - former presidential candidate Herman Cain and Turning Point USA co-founder Bill Montgomery. We also said our final goodbye to civil rights icon John Lewis. I am sure you join with me in mourning their passing. 

Though it has indeed been a sad week, I mirror Pastor Darrell Scott's optimism when I tell you the American flag still represents all that is good about our cherished country, and that ultimately, we will triumph over the evil forces that threaten to take her down.
