In 2018, we came together to fight to rebuild our state after eight disastrous years of Sam Brownback and Jeff Colyer's failed administration. Together, Kansans from across the state made phone calls, knocked on doors, and sent text messages to spread Laura Kelly's message of change to every part of our state.
Then when she was elected, Laura made a promise to all Kansans that she would fight to rebuild our state and put Kansas back on the map.
Now, with her first legislative session complete, it's clear: Laura is on the right path to rebuilding our state and giving everyone a chance to thrive. But in order to make sure Laura can continue fighting for us in the governor's office, we have to make sure we can continue to spread her message across the state.

Not only was Laura able to begin rebuilding our state government by implementing a fiscally responsible budget, but she's also changing the tone in Kansas and taking the steps to make our home more inclusive for everyone.
On her first day in office, Laura signed an executive order to reinstate protections to our LGBTQ+ state employees, she fully funded our schools to give every child a chance to succeed, and she ended our state's economic border war with Missouri.
