Donald Trump is ramping up his war on peaceful protesters.
For weeks, we’ve seen the horrors coming out of Portland -- federal agents wearing camouflage and tactical gear as they snatch protesters into unmarked vans and drive off into the night.
Even Portland’s own mayor was tear-gassed by Trump’s agents. Trump’s response to riot weapons being used against an American mayor? "He made a fool out of himself… so they knocked the hell out of him.”
Now, Trump is sending these agents into even more cities. Chicago is his next target, and Mayor Lori Lightfoot has already said she has “great concerns” for the safety of her city and its citizens. We want to send a message that we stand shoulder to shoulder with peaceful protesters -- and oppose Trump’s violent cruelty toward his own people.
