John --
The last thing Oklahomans want is for the federal
government to come in and tell them how to live their lives. They
don't want to be told how to run their businesses, what cars they're
allowed to drive, and they surely don't want to be beholden to new
rules that impact their ability to provide for their
families.
Thankfully, President Trump and my Senate and House GOP
colleagues understand this, and since we've come into power, we've
been hard at work overturning burdensome new laws that directly impact
you and your way of life.
Over the last year, we've struck down
electric car mandates, anti-drilling policies, and even laws that
impact which refrigerators you can own. *Everything from the type of
tires allowed on the roads to taxpayer-funded Wi-Fi has been on the
chopping block to get big government off your back.*
I ran for
office because of policies like these. They kill job creation,
increase prices, and hurt the economy. That being said, we're pedal to
the metal on taking an axe to the regulatory state.
So long as I'm
in office, you have my word that I'll continue my work to shrink the
influence of big government. Afterall, a government should work for
the people, not create problems for them.
Please take a moment to
let me know how important overturning burdensome rules and regulations
is to you in the survey below. Keep in mind that federal election law
limits how much I'm allowed to communicate with constituents during
election years. By answering this question, you will opt in to
continue hearing from me, even during those periods.
God
Bless,
Markwayne
