Demand your Senators reject a COVID-19 aid package that’s another handout to the rich and corporations.

John,

We have about a week to stop Mitch McConnell’s terrible COVID-19 aid package, which neglects families and communities in favor of even more handouts to the rich and corporations.

Call your U.S. Senators today and demand they reject even more corporate handouts and instead put aid where the need is greatest.

Call 202-224-3121 today!

Suggested Call Script:

Hello, my name is _________ and I live in [CITY, STATE]. In this next COVID-19 aid package, I’d like the Senator to prioritize:

  • The House-passed Heroes Act over Senator McConnell’s HEALS Act;

  • Continuing the $600 weekly enhanced unemployment benefits;

  • Providing $1 trillion to states and communities to maintain critical services and save jobs;

  • And repeal the Millionaires Giveaway, which hands an average $1.6 million tax cut this year to rich business owners.

The aid package should not:

  • Give any more tax breaks to the rich and corporations;

  • Adopt Mitt Romney's scheme to get Congress to cut Social Security and Medicare

  • And give legal protections to businesses that fail to protect their employees and customers from COVID-19.

Please share my thoughts with the Senator. Thank you.

When you’re done, call your other Senator!

This is crunch time. We cannot allow what will likely be the last COVID-19 aid package of 2020 to be another handout to the rich and corporations. We must demand that the Senate prioritize aid for people, families and communities in need.

Thank you for your hard work to hold U.S. Senators accountable to the people and demand a COVID-19 response that supports workers and communities on the frontlines of the pandemic.
