Back in December, Republicans passed S.B. 293 — a bill that will deny more eligible Ohioans the right to vote because of mail delays, bureaucratic errors, and unnecessary barriers.

Besides punishing seniors, people with disabilities, new citizens, and college students for database errors and mail delays outside of their control, its legitimacy under federal law is iffy at best. And in the middle of the 2026 election cycle, it creates avoidable confusion for voters and election workers alike.

We should work to make our elections fair, secure, and accessible, but S.B. 293 isn’t the way.

Watch my full case against S.B. 293, and pitch in to support my campaign for Ohio Secretary of State if you can. As Republicans continue trying to weaken the power of our vote, it’s more important than ever to pay attention and organize behind leaders fighting to strengthen our voices — not water them down. No voting system is acceptable if it results in even one eligible Ohioan being denied the right to vote because of bureaucratic errors or unnecessary barriers, Friend.

Thanks for helping me fight back.
