Growing up on the Kuskokwim River, this girl went salmon fishing with her father and spent long summer days at fish camp. Fishing with family is where Alaskans learn life’s lessons.

And one day, fish would be the very reason she decided to run for U.S. Senate.

From working as a salmon technician to leading the Kuskokwim River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission, Mary saw firsthand how the destruction of fisheries in Alaska has led to food insecurity across the state.

So in 2022, she decided to run a pro-fish, pro-jobs, pro-Alaska campaign for Congress. And with the help of a massive grassroots team, she won.

Mary made history, beat Sarah Palin, and won statewide TWICE in the special and general elections.

DC people were shocked that Mary prioritized going home to help her family put up fish for the winter. But Alaskans understood.

Alaska families have been able to rely on fishing to feed their families for generations. But with crashing salmon populations and skyrocketing grocery prices, life in the Last Frontier is getting even more difficult.

But instead of doing something to help, our politicians and their corporate donors have been self-dealing in DC and profiting off the very broken system that’s shutting down our state.

That’s why Mary is running for U.S. Senate to unrig the DC system and fight for Alaska’s future.

Mary knows fish. And she knows that we need leadership in DC that fights for working families. She knows that systemic change is the only way to bring down grocery costs, save our fisheries, and fill our homes with abundance again.

But Mary is the underdog in this race, and corporate-funded dark money groups are going to spend big to stop her and keep the status quo. So she’s counting on lots of people who understand how important their support is to chip in today.
