Friend -- Underfunded elections may be a dream come true for McConnell and his unpopular, extreme agenda. But it's a nightmare for the majority of Americans. And quite frankly, a nation-wide attack on civil rights.
The Senate just introduced their own COVID relief bill, a watered down version of the House-passed HEROES Act. The bill includes $0 for election administration amidst this pandemic -- that's unacceptable.
With about 24 hours left in July, we decided to set an end-of-month goal of raising $30,000 to help support our efforts to ensure this relief bill includes election protection funding -- because this is a civil rights fight we refuse to sit out.

If McConnell passes anything less than the election protection funding allocated in the HEROES Act, we risk people putting their health at risk to cast their ballots during this pandemic.
McConnell knows this. He also knows that the consequences of his refusal to empower voters this November will likely fall hardest on communities of color by making it more difficult for them to cast their ballots.
It's a point worth repeating --
McConnell's political playbook is clear: suppress the vote this year because it's the first step to putting his party in charge of the redistricting process in 2021.
