Recent polling shows North Carolina Republican Senator Thom
Tillis is in trouble, and Democratic candidate Cal Cunningham is
now running ahead in a tight race.

After helping elect Barack Obama in 2008, the Tar Heel state has
been under tight Republican control in statewide federal
elections since 2015. It's about time to break that monopoly, and
Cal Cunningham is the candidate to do it. A native of Lexington,
leader of an environmental services company and veteran who
served in both Iraq and Afghanistan, Cal is now up against Mitch
McConnell's dark money groups.

They don't want Cal fighting alongside my Democratic colleagues
and me to get Americans affordable health care -- and will spend
