Accuracy in Media recently released an undercover investigation at North Carolina State University.

In the video below, Jae Edwards, then Assistant Director of the LGBTQ Pride Center at NC State, acknowledged that although DEI offices and titles had formally changed across the UNC system, the underlying programming continued.

He described how initiatives were still operating despite policy reforms, including through student organizations not subject to the same restrictions.

Since our investigation was released, Edwards was fired from NC State.

The university also issued a public response ([link removed]) , ([link removed]) stating that Edwards did not have authority over university policy and emphasized that it takes compliance with UNC system directives seriously.
