I know my team has been in touch a lot lately, so please know that I wouldn’t be reaching out directly if this wasn’t urgent. Tomorrow is our July fundraising deadline, and unfortunately we’re still well short of the goal we set.

At the beginning of each month, my team revisits our plan which includes our outreach activities, advertising spending, and our hiring schedule for the remainder of the cycle.

That means we look closely at how much funding we have to work with. Right now, we risk needing to drastically cut back how much campaign activity we can do in these final months. That would be devastating to our chances of flipping this seat.

If you can, I’d really appreciate it if you could chip in a donation before midnight tonight to help us hit our fundraising goal so we can keep fighting to flip this seat.
