Chair's Corner

Happy Monday, Fairfax Dems!

We’re heading into an important stretch for Fairfax Democrats. On February 24, members will gather for a special meeting to support the redistricting resolution overwhelmingly passed by Steering — part of our broader work alongside the Vote YES campaign as we prepare voters for the upcoming referendum.

We’re also celebrating the communities that make this work possible. This past week, Fairfax Dems joined our Asian American neighbors to celebrate Lunar New Year (see photos below), and we’ll honor Black History Month at an event sponsored by the FCDC Black Caucus this Saturday, February 21.

There’s much more happening across the county — opportunities to connect, organize, and build momentum together. Take a look below and find your place in the work ahead.

Onward — together.

The Chair's Corner continues each 1st Friday and 3rd Sunday from 4 to 5pm. Join us next on Sunday, February 15th. Check the FCDC calendar for the Zoom registration page.

"Vote YES" Virginians for Fair Elections Campaigns

“It’s a question of whether people want to move forward that’s responsive to the redistricting that we’ve seen in other states. Certainly the General Assembly was clear with the amendment process they put forward, and now it’s up to voters.” Governor Abigail Spanberger

“We have a president that’s run amok. So we have no choice but to respond and try to do everything in our power to level the playing field.” Virginia House Speaker Don Scott
