John,
West Virginians are suffering.
Thousands of people laid off by coal companies like Blackjewel - which also stole money from its employees before filing for bankruptcy - are still out of work and still awaiting back pay. West Virginians are plagued with cancer alleys while billion-dollar corporations give bonuses to their CEOs.
These executives and companies are enabled and protected by politicians like Shelley Moore Capito. Why? Because she’s part of it - she's taken more than $146,000 from Oil & Gas in the last five years alone. Our lives aren't worth as much as the slush funds and bonuses that fuel this corrupt system.
If we don’t prevail in November, hard-working Americans will continue to suffer the consequences of a corporate-owned government.
Help me win this seat so we can put an end to the corruption and abuse of West Virginians!
We need you with us right now to keep our campaign - which doesn’t take a dime from corporations - going strong. We can’t afford to fall behind, because the stakes have never been higher.
Will you help us meet our July fundraising goals by giving $5, $10, or $20 today?
We know people, not profits, are what matter. I’ll fight for what matters when I’m in the U.S. Senate, but I need you with me to make it happen.
Can I count on your support right now?
