[1]Women's March
We’re deeply alarmed, John.
Today, Trump tweeted that he wants to delay the 2020 Election.
[ [link removed] ][IMG]Trump is clearly intent on doing whatever it takes to cling onto
power — even if that means spreading false information about the election
and our ability to vote. He is gaslighting us by pretending to care about
people staying safe and healthy while voting. No surprise coming from the
man who tried to prevent vote by mail, saying it leads to fraud, while he
and his cronies cast their own mail in votes from the privacy of their
mansions.
We must condemn this unconstitutional power grab and put an end to Trump’s
misinformation agenda. That’s why we’re asking Twitter to shutdown Trump’s
account and stop giving him a platform to share dangerous lies about the
election.
[ [link removed] ]Will you sign our petition to Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey calling on him to
take down this tweet and permanently suspend Trump’s Twitter account? We
don’t have to give misinformation a platform.
Shutdown Trump's Twitter »
For too long, companies like Twitter have given Trump and his friends a
free platform to deceive the public with no accountability. From giving
false medical advice about COVID-19, to now spreading lies about our
ability to vote this election — there are real and dangerous consequences
to Trump’s tweets.
Remember John:
misinformation on social media is a key reason why Trump won in 2016 and
why he’s been able to mislead his supporter base for so long. Just this
week, his son was suspended from Twitter for spreading misinformation. If
we don’t take action to remove Trump from Twitter, we risk making the same
mistakes all over again and suffering another four years under Trump.
At this point, Trump thinks he can get away with anything on Twitter. He
isn’t even trying to make it a secret anymore: he’s openly working to
squash our democracy and scheming to make his authoritarian fever dream a
reality. The consequences of giving his corrupt intentions a platform
could not be more apparent.
[ [link removed] ]Enough is enough. We must come together in full force to demand Twitter
CEO Jack Dorsey suspend Trump’s Twitter account and put an end to his
dangerous misinformation agenda. Please add your name ASAP to the
petition.
Hurry,
Women’s March
