After over two years, Rep. David Schweikert has
finally admitted guilt in the ongoing investigation into his office. He admitted to 11 violations today and a settlement.
The violations of both House rules and federal laws include undisclosed loans and campaign contributions, misuse of campaign funds for personal purposes and improper spending of public taxpayer dollars.
The violations are serious, and after lying to his constituents since 2018, the cost should be higher. We must demand his resignation.
Not only is he guilty, he intentionally delayed the
investigation adding to taxpayer costs.
