John,

After over two years, Rep. David Schweikert has finally admitted guilt in the ongoing investigation into his office. He admitted to 11 violations today and a settlement.

The violations of both House rules and federal laws include undisclosed loans and campaign contributions, misuse of campaign funds for personal purposes and improper spending of public taxpayer dollars.

The violations are serious, and after lying to his constituents since 2018, the cost should be higher. We must demand his resignation.

Not only is he guilty, he intentionally delayed the investigation adding to taxpayer costs.

The committee investigating Schweikert wrote in their report:

"Throughout the course of this investigation, Representative Schweikert made vague or misleading statements to the (investigative subcommittee) and (the Office of Congressional Ethics) that allowed him to evade the statute of limitations for the most egregious violations of campaign finance laws..."

If he won't give up his seat, we'll vote him out this November.

Before our 2018 challenge, Schweikert won this seat every term by an average of 27 points. Team Anita closed that gap to 10 points. Now, we can and will flip this seat.

Will you help us build so we're ready? Let's show our strength by tomorrow's end-of-month deadline.

WATCH -- I challenged him on the investigation in 2018. He lied.

Together, we can bring responsible and accountable representation back. We will protect our democracy and move forward.
