John -- Earlier today, President Trump openly threatened to delay our elections with his usual fear-mongering tactics. A facist, authoritarian president is in the White House, and he’ll stop at nothing to undermine the voting process and maintain power. 

Is this another distraction? Is it a credible threat? Since his inauguration, the entire country has been subjected to his threats via Twitter; sometimes it’s hard to know if something will be turned into dangerous policy, or if it’s just another authoritarian day dream. He’s proven time and again, his rantings are more than hot air. 

We MUST take his words seriously, and Congress must hold the Administration accountable by protecting one of the most critical elections in American history. 

We MUST protect our elections and mail-in voting protocols. Just this week Trump appointed a new Postmaster General who is actively defunding and closing offices across the country, which will mean slower delivery in an already burdened system. 

Trump has been undermining our system of government since the day he was sworn in. 

The Senate Majority and House Republicans have remained silent even as the Administration threatens our basic Constitutional rights. We CANNOT risk the reelection of his many enablers across the House and Senate.
