John, it's Winnie Beshear here. First Pup. Goodest Girl. Loyal companion to my dad, Andy (or, Gov. Andy Beshear if we want to get technical). My dad has been doing A LOT lately. Like…a lot a lot. And it's making him very happy. Which makes me very happy, which usually means more tail wags, more couch time, and (if I'm lucky) extra treats. He's out here helping amazing candidates all across the country — the most goodest people who actually want to help other people (and dogs). He works super duperrrr hard every single day trying to make things better, and then comes home tired but smiling, and I'm like wow, that's my dad! Also, full transparency: I sit in his office chair all the time. So I see everything. The calls. The meetings. The serious thinking face. The hopeful face. He really, really cares about this work. And boy oh boy, does he LUV Kentucky with his whole heart. He brings that care and compassion to everything he does, everywhere he goes.
