Candidates from every party have reached out to us for our support since the Primary, and, as always, we want to invite new candidates in… with a new deadline of September 1st for candidates to sign-on to our pledge and platform and gain the support of our county teams.

Let’s continue to grow our movement. Will you take a moment right now to reach out to candidates you know and invite them to sign on and gain the backing of our movement?

Here are 4 Tips for inviting new candidates to join us:

1. Don’t wait. Reach out now to the candidates you know, using whatever means you have (FB messenger, email, phone). 
2. Talk about why the pledge and platform matter to you, as a voter and a West Virginian. 
3. Mention why you are proud of what we have built, and how that candidate might benefit from it. Free candidate trainings. County teams in all 55 counties. 39 constituency teams. More than 900 volunteers (and growing). A Facebook page with more than 26,000 followers. The biggest donor list in WV gubernatorial campaign history. Strong support among Democrats, Republicans, Independents -- and thousands of voters who have given up on the political system entirely.
4. Remember: right now is not about a candidate convincing you to vote for them. It’s about us inviting candidates to align with our whole movement, so we can put our full, movement-wide support behind them.
