PORTLAND, OR- The governor of Portland should probably check her sources.
On Wednesday, Kate Brown announced that federal officers are going to begin withdrawing from Portland.
But… they’re not.
At right around the same time, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) released a statement saying federal law enforcement officers are there to stay for now. Read More.

Virginia Commonwealth University sees $100K in damages from violent protests over the weekend

RICHMOND, VA– Over the weekend Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) suffered at least $100,000 worth of damages on campus as a result of a riot.
The protest that took place Saturday night was declared an “unlawful assembly” by Richmond State Police. Six protesters were arrested on various charges including unlawful assembly, rioting with a firearm, and assault on a law enforcement officer. Read More.

Firefighters ignore order from city leaders to remove Thin Blue Line Flags from fire trucks

HINGHAM, MA – Law Enforcement Today recently reported that a controversial order was given to remove Thin Blue Line flags from local firetrucks in Hingham, after someone complained about the presence of the flags on firetrucks, the president of the Hingham firefighters’ union refused the Fire Chief’s order to take them down.
