Join a celebration of the centennial of the 19th Amendment!

AUG 6 I 7 - 9 p.m. EDT
Free
This August marks the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, granting women the right to vote. It’s a powerful and important centenary, though ratification was an incomplete victory. Black women were still largely disenfranchised until the passage of the Voting Rights Act nearly 45 years later on August 6, 1965.
On August 6, join All In Together in partnership with The 19th, the George and Barbara Bush Foundation, the LBJ Presidential Library, the National Archives, the National Constitution Center, and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for 19th Amendment: Past, Present, and Future. This very special online event will celebrate the centennial of the 19th Amendment, highlight the unfinished business of equity and celebrate progress by convening luminary women leaders, including our keynote speaker Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Other speakers include historians, ceiling breakers, and policymakers for a once in a century celebration.
