I wanted to personally reach out and ask you to become a member of San Francisco Transit Riders.

This month, we’ve added or renewed over 75 members and raised over $3,200, but we’re still short of what we need to fully mobilize against the Muni cuts happening right now. Can you renew your membership today to help us hit our goal of $5,000 by the end of July?

Thanks to our members, we've made real change for transit riders in the past few months alone. We helped secure $25 billion for transit as part of the federal stimulus package and added almost ten miles of new transit-only lanes to speed up Muni and protect rider health. But to meet the scale of the crisis Muni is facing, we need your support John. 

July is membership month, so all donations are being doubled -- now is the best time to join. What’s more, to celebrate our members, we’ve got two exciting events coming up, including a webinar with SFMTA Director Jeff Tumlin tonight.
