As the son of immigrant parents, I defied the odds to become a United States Congressman.

I lost my dad unexpectedly when I was in high school. I watched my mom get to work to provide for my brothers and me.

It wasn't always easy, but I prioritized getting an education in honor of my dad's legacy and my mom's sacrifice.

Above all, my parents taught me to always fight for what is right. That ultimately inspired me to serve in Congress.

I'm coming to you because I need your help to defy the odds again:

I'm the most vulnerable Democrat in Congress. If Republicans flip a seat anywhere, it will be here. The GOP is pouring resources into defeating me, and if I can't raise $3,871 before my End of Month deadline, my campaign will be dead on arrival.

So I'm humbly asking: Will you chip in to save my Democratic campaign?

I won't lie: We're worried.

I know that I'm target #1, and I know how powerful Republican dark money is.

The GOP thinks if they are relentless that we will just give up.

But I've been up against the odds before, and I know what is possible when individuals come together to fight for what is right.
