As immigrant families who were excluded from COVID relief struggle to put food on the table, Mitch McConnell is pushing for an austerity relief package that excludes noncitizens and, instead, dedicates $1.6 billion for Border Patrol.

We need a COVID relief package that puts families first, and includes relief for the 41.1 million people across the country who have at least one noncitizen in their household. Tonight, we’re joining our partner FIRM for a virtual town hall and rally with grassroots leaders to demand our Senators pass an inclusive and bold COVID-19 relief package that includes and brings much-needed aid to immigrant families.

If we take action now, we can pass a stimulus package that extends relief to 7.9 million noncitizen children and adults who file taxes with an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) instead of a Social Security Number.
