What we accomplish in the next day matters.

Friend, our July fundraising deadline is right around 36 hours away. I want you to know why this one matters—a lot.

With less than 100 days to go until Election Day, the polls are within the margin of error and outside groups are lining up millions in attack ads against me. It’s not an exaggeration to say that every minute counts as we work to expand our operation and defeat Mitch in November.

We’ve got Mitch in a very uncomfortable spot right now. This underdog campaign was never supposed to get this far. The polls were never supposed to tighten this much. We were never supposed to level the field in fundraising. That wasn’t in Mitch’s game plan at all.

But thanks to you, we did all of it—because, at the moments that matter most, this team comes through. We’ve built a grassroots team like Mitch has never seen.

That’s why we can count on the fact that Mitch’s special-interest money machine will throw everything they’ve got at us in the next three months. Going up against their millions will take something extra from all of us—a level of commitment bigger than any we’ve brought before.

This week in particular has driven home that we can’t afford six more years of Mitch McConnell. The incomplete, ineffective pandemic relief proposal he just rolled out (with a long list of protections and favors for big corporations, per usual) is just another reminder that for 35 years, we’ve had a leader who puts his own partisan interests ahead of the people he represents.

Deadlines like these are how we make it clear: We’ve had enough.

Before Friday’s deadline, will you chip in to help make this Mitch’s final year in the United States Senate?

Thank you,
Amy
