Hello there,

Our Congress now has more women and more diverse members than ever before.

We’ve already seen how a more representative government better reflects the voices of everyday Americans. Representatives like Pramila Jayapal and Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez have fought for Medicare for All and a $15 minimum wage, while senators like Kamala Harris and Tammy Duckworth have led the charge on police reform and spoken out against the racist hypocrisy of our president and his allies.

But what we’ve done so far isn’t enough. White men still hold 60% of the seats in the House and 71% percent of seats in the Senate. Meanwhile, women of color control less than 10% of Congress.

This election marks a fork in the road. We can grow our momentum and increase representation for women and people of color in the Senate, the House, and even the White House. Or, we can let white men dominate this election just like they did in 2016 -- and get four more years of a racist president propped up by his enablers in Congress. We know they’d love nothing more than to shut the door on the progress we’ve made, but if we stand together, they’ll never get the chance. That’s why we’re reaching out now, because we can't do this alone:

Do you support a more diverse government?
