I wanted to take a moment and let you all know what we’re hoping to accomplish in August — and how you’re a key part of that plan. 

With a self-funding opponent and a slew of special interests behind her, we’re working each and every day to make sure that we’re building an agile and grassroots focused gameplan.

That means investing in new technologies to help us engage our volunteers in ways that protect our North Texas community during this pandemic — and build on our 2018 winning foundation.

But in order for us to run the campaign best suited for those goals, we have to make sure that our campaign isn’t funded by interests opposed to those goals. That’s why Colin is not taking a dime of corporate PAC money — and that’s why benchmarks like our monthly fundraising projections are so important.

We’re coming up on our end-of-July fundraising deadline, and our goals this month are ambitious. That's because we have big plans, and we know that our strong grassroots campaign can deliver. We’re asking you to chip in and contribute to that goal.

We have less than 100 days to go until our November election, and that means we have our work cut out for us.

Together, we can focus on the issues that matter, from building a strong and affordable health care system to ensuring that our economy works for all of us. We can protect frontline workers, defend our civil rights, expand our access to the ballot, and build a fairer Texas.

That’s why Colin is running for re-election, John -- because that work needs to be done. 

And Colin is the only candidate in the race who will champion the goals our North Texas families are fighting for.
