Dolores Huerta is one of my heroes.

Growing up, we were taught about Dolores’ legacy. About her fight for basic worker rights with Cesar Chavez, the UFW, and my grandfather Robert Kennedy in the 1960's. About her decades of fearless advocacy for the workers most forgotten and abused in the American economy.

Today, I am humbled and honored to invite you to a virtual rally with civil rights icon Dolores Huerta on August 5th at 4 PM EDT. This is a free event, which will be accessible to everyone. Will you RSVP to join me and Dolores Huerta in conversation on August 5th? A Zoom link will be sent to you after you RSVP.

Dolores Huerta defines strength, conviction and moxie. She fights every day for the rights of women, immigrants, and workers in her communities. She has given every inch of herself to the fight for social and economic justice for all. I am humbled beyond measure to have her join us next week. And I would love to have you be a part of our conversation.
