By now, you might have seen the latest polls: Sara Gideon is up five points against Susan Collins.

I’m sure the Collins team will try to spin this. But when you vote for anti-choice judges, help pass a tax cut that benefits your wealthy donors over working Mainers, and praise Donald Trump’s chaotic, dangerous, and failed response to the coronavirus outbreak -- being unpopular with Maine voters isn’t a surprise.

But here at the Maine Dems, we aren’t taking anything for granted. The only poll that really matters is the one that takes place at the ballot box on election day. We will be working until the last possible moment on November 3rd to ensure we win, so that we can bring about much needed change in Maine and across the country.
