“Addressing cyber threats requires vigilance at home and coordinated action with partners internationally.
“Canada welcomes the EU’s first listings of individuals and entities under their new sanctions regime for malicious cyber activity. It is an important step toward holding perpetrators of these acts accountable.
“Canada is committed to building resilience, reducing threats, and promoting stability in cyberspace.
“We will continue to work with our international partners to develop measures aimed at preventing, deterring, discouraging and countering malicious cyber acts.”
