Here’s what I know, folks:

1. We have to take back the Senate this year. For too long, Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans have held our government hostage — letting good bills die because it didn’t please their wealthy friends.


2. I believe we can flip enough seats to do it. Democrats only need to flip four Senate seats to take back the majority. And five battleground states (including Montana!) have been ranked toss-ups.


3. But it’s going to a tough — and expensive — battle. Right-wing groups and corporate super PACs have already dumped millions of dollars into competitive races in hopes of keeping their grip on power in Washington.
