John,

I am going to keep this short and to the point.

 In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make an additional contribution to our campaign to replace Nancy Pelosi.

I hope that you will give me a chance to explain why this request — especially today — is so important to our campaign.

First off, thank you!  It is with your support we have seen so many victories for the candidates and issues we care about.

Second, as we saw from the past week, progressive grassroots campaigns like ours are winning across the country - Jamaal Bowman, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, and Mondaire Jones.  

We have seen that our shared bold vision for America meets the urgency of this moment; a living wage, ending corporate greed, Medicare for all and an end to racist policies that profile black and brown Americans.  

In San Francisco, we are taking on the establishment and Nancy Pelosi. While she continues to equivocate, with your support, we are advocating for massive, long overdue systematic changes.  

Can you make one additional gift today before our critical end-of-the-month deadline to keep our progressive momentum going? 

I would not ask if it was not important.  

We’re excited to unseat the entrenched politicians who’ve impeded progress for so long.  Thank you for standing with us.
