Friend,
My, how things have changed.
Cory Gardner promised to be an “independent voice” in Washington for Coloradans. He said Donald Trump should drop out of the race after the Access Hollywood tape where he bragged about grabbing women. He said he wouldn’t vote for Trump.
Today, he’s not looking quite so critical of Donald Trump, or quite so independent:
FiveThirtyEight predicted Cory Gardner would vote with Trump less than 50% of the time -- but in reality, he votes with Trump nearly 90% of the time. He supports him so often, he even joins him on-stage for campaign rallies, most recently at one in February.
John Hickenlooper is running to unseat Cory Gardner and be a real voice for Coloradans -- not a GOP stooge parading as an independent. That’s what Colorado needs, and that’s what the American people need.
We’re trying to raise $5,000 by midnight Friday to support John Hickenlooper’s campaign to unseat Cory Gardner in Colorado: Will you donate $5 or more right now to help us hit our end-of-month fundraising goal?
Sincerely,
Chuck Schumer
