The House is expected to vote today on the SAVE America Act. If Republicans succeed, this bill will impose harmful new restrictions on eligible voters’ ability to cast their ballots in this year’s crucial midterm elections.

The SAVE America Act would create serious barriers for millions of Americans, including married people who changed their last name, voters without easy access to required documents, people with disabilities, rural voters, and low-income voters. It would make participating in our democracy harder at the very time accountability matters most.
