Dear John,
As fragile but promising U.S.-Iran talks progress this week and instability continues to roil Iran, our country is still the closest it’s been to a military attack on the Iranian people since war broke out last June. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, one of the most vocal advocates for war with Iran, is in Washington this week to meet with Trump, raising the stakes even more.
Bombs are not solidarity. Another regime-change war – sold as a solution to repression – would only bring mass civilian harm, regional chaos, and betrayal of those in Iran struggling for a freer future on their own terms.
Today, our organization is leading a public letter to Congress [[link removed]] with 24 other American organizations demanding that Members of Congress step up and take a stand against war on Iran. This letter calls on U.S. Senators and Representatives to pass bipartisan Iran War Powers Resolutions, led by Senators Kaine and Paul in the Senate and Representatives Khanna and Massie in the House.
Ways you can help:
* Read and share our letter online [[link removed]] to amplify the voice of the overwhelming majority of the American public and Iranian-American community that opposes yet another senseless and bloody war, this time on Iran.

* Contact your Member of Congress [[link removed]] if you haven’t already to ask them to co-sponsor these resolutions and make it clear where they stand.

When we organize, we show that U.S. imperialism and the devastation of war are not an inevitability. We are deeply proud to be an independent Iranian American organization fighting loudly against yet another war on our friends, family and loved ones back in Iran.
Please raise your voice now, before it’s too late – and thank you as always for standing with us, even as powerful lobbies intensify their efforts to extinguish our voice.
In Solidarity,
Jamal Abdi Executive Director, NIAC Action[[link removed]]
