For too long, Americans with Medicare Advantage (MA) have struggled to receive the high-quality, coordinated, and low-cost care that was promised upon the creation of the program. Yet unchecked corporate profiteering within MA has resulted in the program driving significant wasteful spending and undermines Medicare’s promise to seniors and taxpayers alike. Families USA's latest issue brief breaks down the problems plaguing the Medicare Advantage program, and lays out six solutions to revitalize the MA program.
